A five-year settlement between Haji Iskandar Khan Yavar and Haji Isma‘il (on behalf of his wife and ‘Azimat Khanum), Muhammad Sultan (on behalf of his wife), Sultan Baygum Khanum (as the guardian of Mirza Abu Turab Khan), and Fatimah Khanum (Karbalayi Muhammad ‘Ali's wife), regarding the proceeds of some properties in Varaqah village of Hashtrud district. Taxes of Mulla ‘Ali and his wife, 1925
Mulla ‘Ali Dizaji Ahari writes to Hujjat al-Islam about the demand of the Department of Taxes in Ahar that he and his wife, the daughter of Karbalayi ‘Abbas, pay taxes based on their belonging to the Qarachurlu clan. He states that they do not belong to the Qarachurlu clan; also argues that taxing of women is not common, and asks the addressee to mediate with the head of the Tax Department. On the margin, Ayatollah Sadiq Tababayi has requested Amin al-Ulama’ to review this case.
